Text: Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9.
God expects us to live strong and courageous lives amidst the challenges, sorrows and hardship around us. God wants us to live without fear because He is always with us and will never leave us or forsake us.

Being strong and courageous means that we trust God as our source of strength. We may not have all the answers to our tough challenges but we can trust God knowing that He has all the answers to the questions in our lives and will help us overcome all challenges we encounter.
Being strong and courageous is in the little details of our daily lives – our decisions to trust God in the choices we make daily. Our decision to seek God in prayer before making any decision and to seek His Wisdom in His Word to guide our choices and our willingness to follow His examples each day.
When we do this, we will have the courage to let go of fear and face whatever challenges we encounter daily with faith because we know and are assured in our heart that He is with us. The enemy attacks you because he despises the relationship you have with Christ, If he can come between the intimacy you share with The Holy Spirit then he has won the battle!
The enemy brings challenges so that you will give up on Christ, but you must hold onto the Word of God for therein is your power and victory. God is saying to you to be strong and courageous, not be afraid, only have faith and believe in Him for He is with you, He will help you, He will see you through and He will never abandon you nor forsake you.
It is a command to be strong and courageous, to not be afraid, therefore, you must strengthen your heart in Christ knowing His Holy Spirit is with you to help you always.
PRAYER: LORD I thank You for strength, please empower me to remain courageous and faithful till I see You in Glory. Amen.

Being courageous is a distinguishing quality of a follow of Christ.
Regardless of once current conditions we are rest assured that He is with us and He is working out the best for us all the time.
