In whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;
Ephesians 1:7.
Christ’s death on the Cross of Calvary is sufficient payment for the sins of anyone who believes in Him. We were in bondage under the powers and principalities because of the sin of disobedience by Adam. God being so rich in love and mercy purchased our freedom with the Blood of His Son JESUS CHRIST and forgave our sins.
God bought us with a price; the price He paid for us by sending His Son to die for us on the Cross so that we will be forgiven forever of all our sins and receive Eternal Life as a gift of His grace. We can only receive His forgiveness through faith in His Son when we accept Him into our hearts as our LORD and our personal Saviour. God gave us a new identity in Him!
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous Light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:9-10.
Beloved, you have been redeemed by the precious Blood of JESUS CHRIST through His death on the Cross of Calvary. There is forgiveness for you; as many as come to Christ will receive the forgiveness of God and Eternal Life. The reason anyone will go to hell and the lake of fire is not because of sin, for Christ has paid it all, but because they have refused to receive God’s forgiveness by acknowledging JESUS CHRIST as LORD and God and living in the riches of the grace of God.
It doesn’t matter what you may have done in the past, all that matters is that Jesus loves you and died on the Cross of Calvary to pay the sinful debt that you and I owe and we have been set free from the wrath of God to come upon the earth.
